Upgrading Security on a Website

I want to know what would be the benefit of having additional URL in AAM because I am currently upgrading security on a website. There are so many suggestions on the internet but this one got my attention and I would really want to know more about it so please help me understand this. Thank you!

Upgrading Security on a Website

Hallo Eleanor,

I am not so sure but I think an additional url will make the will improve the number of hit on the site and therefore increase its popularity. It will enable redirecting to other sites that you may want popularized and therefore a good tool for advertising the site.

When it comes to security an additional url will enable you to be fully functional so that when one has been infiltrated and therefore rendered not functional you can still run on the other additional url.  The additional url will be like a backup to the other url that you have.
