Hi there,

My HP printer software required an update. I have accepted to do the updates but instead of installation this error message popped-up. I ran again the update manager and the error appeared again instead of the install wizard. Can anyone help me please to update my HP software? Why it gives me such an error?

It seems that the upgrade patch you are trying to install can’t seem to find the target application HP LoadRunner 9.51. If this is the case, click OK to exit the process and then restart your computer. Check if HP LoadRunner 9.51 is still installed on your computer and that you can still open it. If there’s no problem with the program, try running the HP LoadRunner 9.52 patch again to upgrade the 9.51 version and see what happens.

If this doesn’t work, uninstall HP LoadRunner 9.51 then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and click Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK, and click Delete Files. Restart your computer and then install the application again. Once it is installed, run the 9.52 upgrade patch again and see if it works.

If doing this still doesn’t do any good, you should install HP LoadRunner 11.0 because majority of the issues associated to the 9.52 patch was resolved in HP LoadRunner 11.0. Visit HP LoadRunner Download to download the latest version. You should be a registered HP user before you can download the trial version.
