Updating Error with MS Outlook

I am facing some troubles with connector update and that is I found in a website that includes a thing with the link and I downloaded it and installed and after that found trouble of the folder. I was advised of going to the docs as well settings/local/micro/outlook. also “remove” whole .ost files after that then reinstall should be done.

I followed the advice but I have still the same problem. It retrieves emails for at first then later it starts providing error on the name of folder also can not proceed on retrieving of emails. Now I need to know whether there are any other extra file either “registry entries” that I should have to do deletion /modification activities? Could you please help me on this?

Updating Error with MS Outlook

Hi,

Since you have already messed up with your current outlook settings, first try to run Outlook in safe mode where it checks for errors, especially in the data file. Once the checkup is completed, remove the addon which you have currently installed.

Restart the system.

Go to the Outlook again, and install the outlook connect plugin which allows you to create connection to your hot mail and other accounts. Once this is done, go to settings of that plugin and change the download mode to – download message headers only.

Make sure, you have created a separate Pst file which allows you to save these e-mails separate from you main email account. Once it is done, I believe you are through with your issue and your Outlook will work faster and smoothly. If any issue persists feel free to contact.
