Unresolved RAm issue in PC

I have two RAMs of 1 GB each installed in my PC both are of Kingston. Some times they work fine but some times my PC shows total installed memory of 1 GB only. What is the problem in it?

I have removed both and put them in different slots but even then the same problem occurred.

Guide me with the solution please.

Unresolved RAm issue in PC

What you have to do. There are many problem due to which you ram some time detected and some time not. What you have to do is that open you laptop screws and check your motherboard it is clean or not. If not then take a bloom and clean your laptop specially your slots in which you have inserted you Ram.

This is common issue when dust goes to slot then some time current from motherboard pass to Ram properly and some time not i have seen many case which is solved by doing this and best of luck for your case. Hope this will solve you problem. Thanks.
