An unknown iTunes error occurred (-50)

Hello there,

I have this error when I want to connect to iTunes Store from my laptop and also the same error appears on my iPhone. I’ve waited for two days hoping that is an error from iTunes but I still cannot establish a connection with Store. Does anyone have any idea what is happening? Is there an error with Store or I have errors in my laptop?

An unknown iTunes error occurred (-50)

May be you are facing an apple server based problem .What you do is uninstall the iTunes and download this again. Try to reset the iTunes store cache on the’ iTunes Preferences, Advanced setting’. After this right click on the iTunes and select ‘Run as Administrator’. Hope this resolves your problem as well.
Or , you can follow this too:-

Quit iTunes and any other open applications running except only Finder is open.
Then select Go — Go to Folder.
Next, write /Users/Shared/SC Info and click Go.
If you find that ‘Finder’ is not set to column view then set it by choosing View — as Columns.
Next, select the SC Info folder and move it to the ‘Trash’ by selecting File — Move to Trash.
Finally, restart your machine and open iTunes.
