Hey, Recently

I created an open meeting activity in the Moodle successfully. I decided to join in one of the already created rooms in the open meeting. However, accessing this room activity in Moodle has only led to an error message “Unknown error.

Hello Robert,

The following workarounds should help you resolve the issue that you are getting:

Solution 1:

There could be something wrong with your open meeting  server. You will need to check the following:

• Is your Open Meeting Server on Windows or Linux?
• Are you able to log on without issues to the Open Meeting Server directly?

Solution 2:

• The problem might be caused by JDK. The one you have may not be compatible. I will recommend downgrading the DK version to a version that is lower and see if that will work.

Solution 3:

• Go to moodle server telnet openmeetings_server on port 5080.
• You will need to disable the firewall you have on that computer  and see of that will resolve the issue.
