Microsoft is really into uniting all of its platforms, It is pretty obvious since merging metro an windows UI together, Microsoft is just heading to the right direction, The speculation about Universal Office suit application software for smartphones and tablets has been out for a while, It is said it will support touch natively, And i believe it to be true, The minimum requirements aren't out yet, But Microsoft is excellent when it comes to running software on older hardware.
