Hi all,
After successful installation of AutoCAD in the system when I try to open it for the first time I got this error message. After this error, it aborts the AutoCAD. I am not able to work with it. For your information I have Windows 8 64 bit and 500GB hard disk. How do I fix this error? I tried to reinstall it again but I get the same error message. Please help. Thanks.

Hello,

Your error is very amazing. First, try to update your product to the latest version. Get the latest update for your product.

If that still doesn’t solve your issue, you have to make a clean uninstall and install of your AutoCAD software.

1. Go to Start menu >> Control Panel >> Programs >> Programs and Features.
2. Right-click on AutoCAD and select “Uninstall/Change”.
3. When the uninstallation wizard appears, click “Uninstall”.
4. Wait for the process to complete.
5. Remove the following files and registries from your PC to make it clean of all AutoCAD files and registries.

1. %appdata%Autodesk
2. C:Users<your_user_name>AppDataLocalAutodesk
3. C:ProgramDataAutodesk

Here are the registries:

 

– HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAutodesk

– HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareAutodesk

Now, install AutoCAD with the latest update freshly.
