Unable to use MSN and Yahoo messenger …

Hello fellow members. I’m not able to use Hotmail and yahoo messenger. I don’t know what is happening with my laptop. Should I uninstall current window or what?

When I try to install those programs(yahoo and MSN) shows error. Please help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Hello

Make sure the copy you installed was a genuine copy. If it is a genuine copy ensure you computer has an updated antivirus and internet security. The file may be corrupted such that some components are missing, destroyed or paths changed causing the program not to function properly or at all. Or there is a program causing yahoo messenger not to work like running it with IE8 at once.

To uninstall a program means you want to remove the program from your computer and if the paths are changed it means the program is different literally. So it becomes difficult to uninstall. Ensure you upgrade and update your computer protection and scan then clean for malwares and shut. Try opening again. If it does same install a different pack, updated one as this one may delete the other patches. If this still doesn’t work. Then you need to change the windows reinstall all the programs again.

Hello, Shekharsirohi.

 

I got a solution to help you out on this problem with MSN Messenger. 

I encountered same as this problem before on my MSN Messenger.

What I did is I reset my router and I open my MSN Messenger, after resetting the router. Finally, it works.! It seems like the software (msnmsger.exe) creates some exceptions to the router firewall. So, when you force to run the msnmsger.exe and reach the maximum exceptions your msnmsger.exe won't run. Hope this advice will help you best.
