I cannot sync my Cortex Controller and Microprocessor. I tried every possible solutions but I am unlucky to perform it correctly. The VEXnet Joystick and Cortex Microcontroller have a full battery charged and I successfully connect it through the USB cord. The green lights of VEXnet are active. How can I sync the two? Please help.
You will need to check the Cortex Controller and make sure that there are no IP addresses, MAC addresses, security settings, and IP protocols that have been set in its implementation, for the device has been set to work wirelessly without using those settings. All you will need to do is just turn it on, and after that it should be able to automatically connect to the correct Joystick. You should also check if the controller needs to be plugged via the VEXnet USB Adapter into your PC for programming, debugging, and driving and make sure that has been taken care of. After that you can try syncing it with the microprocessor again and see if all goes well.
