I’ve been trying to print wireless to my Lexmark Z2400 wireless printer that connects to my Windows7 computer via USB cable. I have my Windows computer set for sharing to my newly purchased Mac Book Pro OS X. But I have no idea if what should I need to do just to get it print wirelessly to the printer.

Could I just share them? Or should they be network?

What solutions that you could suggest and the steps that should I take?

Hi There Buddy!

I am assuming that you want to print from your laptop to your wireless printer. First off, is your wireless printer installed in your desktop printing correctly? It might be the problem why your laptop cannot print in your printer, but if it is working for your desktop then you did not install the wireless driver of your Lexmark printer in your laptop.

Wireless Printers have 2 kinds of drivers, the wired driver for LPT1, USB cables such as your desktop computer and the wireless driver for laptops and no need for cables.

Lexmark 2400 Wireless Printer driver.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!
