Hi experts,
Please suggest me on data recovery operation. Present configuration of my PC is Windows XP with 1TB HD (boot drive). I rebooted my computer. I noticed that CHKDSK auto started and I also cancelled it several times. However, it had detected various bad sectors in the hard disk and deleted corrupted records.
Without my concern, it performed so many activities. However, I tried to reboot my PC, but this time, it created so many problems. Finally I failed to reboot my PC. I think, there has been major corruption with my HD, but I need to recover my data preserved in the HD. I bought a new PC with a new HD. I want to transfer data from my old corrupted HD to my new HD. Is there any recovery tool to solve this problem?
Below is the screenshot of the error.
Please help me. I will be grateful to you.
Thanks.
Unable to recover data preserved in HD of PC with Windows XP
Hello Bob
There are many recovery tools available. You can choose any one. RecoverMyFiles, http://www.recovermyfiles.com/Â is a very good software for this purpose. It not recovers your files successfully but also provides on-the-fly previews of what you are recovering. It is a licensed software. If you want a free recovery software, then Recuva, http://www.piriform.com/recuva is the best.
I hope this helps
Happy Coomputing 🙂
