Unable to receive mails through Lotus Notes 6.5

I can be able to receive e-mails in Lotus Notes 6.5, but I was unable to receive e-mails through it. Instead of receiving mails sent by my contacts, an error message is received saying: "Network operation did not complete in a reasonable amount of time; please retry 157.198.5.33." Could anyone please tell me why this is happening?

Unable to receive mails through Lotus Notes 6.5

You need to make sure that first choice basic notes ‘client configuration drag and drop’ saves as .eml file is checked. Draw email to the desktop or an explorer instance (saved as .eml file). Annex the file to open an email by highlighting it with the paper-clip menu item or drag and drop the file into the opened email.

• Checked with notes versions 6.5 and 7.0.x from your lotus notes Inbox.
• Open the message
• Click to view > show > page source
• Open a text file and Copy all the data into it then save the file with .eml extension
• Create a new message
• Attach the .eml file (s) and send the new message
• Open message
• Save to desktop
• Open new mail
• Attached *.eml file on desktop
