Hi Guys,

I have my Laptop’s account connected with my Microsoft Live Account. My friend changed the password after breaching the User Account. I am unable to open my laptop. I need help in Microsoft Account live password reset windows 8.

Unable To Perform Microsoft Account Live Password Reset Windows 8.

Hello, all you have to have is another computer that has an Internet connection. Open https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx. Then choose the reason behind resetting your password. After that, enter your details. Choose your reason then, select “Next.” Enter the Captcha to prove that you’re not a robot. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number that you would have entered while creating that account. Enter that OTP and then, enter your desired new password.

Once you are done resetting the password online, you can use the new password to open your laptop.

Tip: Always keep an alternate Picture Password saved on your laptop. If such a case occurs again, disconnect your laptop from any Internet Connection, then, you will be able to start your laptop using the Picture Password
