Unable to open calendar file on Outlook 2007

One of my clients is using Outlook 2003. The problem is he cannot open the calendar file that I have shared from my Outlook 2007 version. How can I resolve the problem? Is there any update/resource available that can help me resolve the issue?

Unable to open calendar file on Outlook 2007

Hi

Your client is having outlook 2003 and you send him calendar file from outlook 2007.He can't open the calendar file using outlook 2003..Most of the calendar entries are saved as .ics file and your client might not be  able to open .ics file.Just convert it to any others that he could be able to open.Another solution is to import the .ics file to outlook 2003 and hence have to check whether it works.Better suggest him to install office 2007 or try to send him a doc that is saved to 97-2003 format.While sending a calendar from outlook 2007 ,the file is saved as icalendar format So,better do to insist the client to install office 2007, and hence you will never face any problem ahead.
