Unable to hear sound from Sony HTCT260H Soundbar

Hello everybody,

Recently I have purchased a Sony Bravia TV (Model: KDL50W829BBU), Sony Soundbar (Model: HTCT260H) and Sony Blu-Ray player (Model: BDPS6200B).

I have connected all three by using HDMI cables, but from sound bar I couldn't hear any sound. When I switch on the sound bar, TV is detecting and cut the sound to build in speakers. But couldn't hear anything from sound bar. I tried different ways, but nothing worked.

Does anybody face the same problem? Please help me out here guys. Thanks you very much in advance!

Hello,

 

Consult the hardware documentation of each device to ensure they are connected properly. Inspect the cords used to connect them to ensure there is no physical damage. Also, ensure that all devices are receiving the proper amount of power. Inspect all devices for damage (e.g., cracks, loose or missing parts, moisture, burns, etc.). Utilize the built-in configuration software of your television to setup peripherals. The device documentation should guide you through this process. If you do not have the literature, call the manufacturer for customer service assistance or acquire the literature from the web site of the manufacturer.
