Hello,

Actually I am trying to create a new phone project in VB 2010 but an error message displays as you can see the whole error message below. I have VS 2010 Pro SP1using Windows 7 Pro. Is there anyone to resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please provide a proper solution to create a new Silverlight application for Windows Phone in VS 2010. Thanks in advance.

Microsoft Visual Studio

Microsoft Visual Studio

The vstemplate file references the wizard class.

Microsoft, VisualStudio, SmartDevice. ProjectSystem,Wizards.ProjectTem plateWizard’. Which does not exist in the assembly

‘Microsoft VisualStudio SmartDevice Project System Base

Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=b03f5f7f11d50a3a’.

Hi,

You may want to check a similar thread in devexpress site.

Another alternative is to save and close all instances of VS

Then,uninstall the application.

Verify that there are no VS assemblies in GAC. Manually uninstall if there are any.

Fresh reinstall the program.
