I have BlackBerry Torch and I upgraded my Facebook application to 2.0.
But I noticed that after successfully upgrading, I wasn’t able to connect to Facebook anymore.
I can connect to it without issues before upgrading. I always have an error 100 when trying to log in.Â
We cannot reach the Facebook server at this time.
Please try again later. (100)
How can I resolve this?
Unable to connect to FaceBook after upgrading in BB
Hi Gary,
These may solve the error:
1. Register HRT
2. Delete and Resend Service Books
3. Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime any error behavior creeps in, the first thing you can do is battery pop reboot. Just remove the back cover and pull out the battery when the power is on. Wait for a while then place the battery and back cover then power up and wait.
Be patient coz it might take approximately 5 mins to reboot. Watch if things have returned onto good operation.
As like other computing devices, Blackberry suffers from memory leaks and such. Hard reboot is one of the best cure for these.
Hopefully this will solve the problem for you!Â
Or just rollback your Facebook app to the previous version and wait until the bug is fixed.

If you don't have a bb data plan It will not work I thought that with any WiFi I would be able to use the apps on the bb but found out that lots don't work if you don't have a data plan.
I have unlimited email and text messages but that doesn't count as a data plan. If you do have a data plan power down the phone pull the battery wait a few minutes and then restart the phone and try again!
If still it won’t work then there might be some problem with the newer version you have to wait until the bug fixes for this newer version.
