In the windows 8 64 bit operating system I have Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Web Management Console. I am facing this error for a while in the computer. I am not able to figure out the exact reason for this error. What need to be activated in HTTP? Please help me to find the root cause? Thanks in advance.
Unable to access SnapIn config data store. Home Snapln will not be loaded.

The SnapIn config data store is a table in “GPWEBMANAGEMENT” database that stores the URL to the Session Central Service called WCF service. Somehow, Web Management Console couldn’t reach the database on the SQL Server to read the Session Central Service URL so the Console was unable to contact to the Session Service to produce user session.
To turn on HTTP Activation on Windows 8 follow these steps:
1. Go to “Control Panel”.
2. Select “Program”.
3. Click on “Turn Windows features on or off”.
4. Expand .NET Framework 4.5 Advanced services.
5. Expand “WCF Services”.
6. Click on the “HTTP Activation checkmark”.
7. To support other protocols in your environment, turn on MSMQ Activation, Named Pipe Activation TCP Activation or TCP Port Sharing as extra options for your WCF endpoints.
When the service were up and run, the Web Management Console will work fine.
