Two antivirus programs in one system

Hi Richard Andrews,

Yes, there is a possibility that the other antivirus software would detect the other antivirus software as a virus or a threat causing an attack on the other antivirus software. Besides that, there are also a number of disadvantages when using two antivirus software. One, It can use a lot of memory and resources; thereby, slowing your system down.

Two, like I said, it can create a conflict between antivirus software; consequently, it may cause a crash to your system. Three, it can slow down the scan process of your antivirus software.

I suggest you use only one antivirus, and a solid one.

My big answer is NO, according to research you don't need to have two antivirus running at the same time on your system.Because you might think that if you have two antivirus and the other one didn't stop the virus, you would think that the other will do,but it's not the case instead you will have problems having two antivirus.

One of this is your system going to be slow because it will use more resources on your system.

Secondly the two antivirus programs will conflict with each other like what you say the other antivirus will think that the other program is a virus.

If you already have two antivirus you need to uninstall the other one, just choose the one on which your familiar with, there are so many antivirus programs that you can install on your system. It depends on you what your computer needs, just remember to upgrade and install updates for your antivirus to makes it do it job of protecting your system.
