Trouble with Microsoft fax Server with exchange Server.

Hello, in our office there is a system working for automatic routing of incoming faxes to individuals microsoft fax server with exchange server. From few days we noticed that some faxes are getting missing because of proper configuration we think. Any expert advice please?

Trouble with Microsoft fax Server with exchange Server.

Hello Johnny,

The problem might be because of the fax reception getting disabled. You need to make sure that the fax reception is enabled. Follow these steps –

• Open Server Manager-> Tools-> Fax Service Manager
• In the left, right-click- Fax -> Properties
• Go to – General tab -> select Enable reception of new faxes

If this does not solve the problem then you should consult a technician to check for any hardware problems.

Trouble with Microsoft fax Server with exchange Server.

i Johnny,

                There might problems with requesting access to the network, request may time out and it causes for some fax message to not be sent or received. You can check for the update on your Exchange server, and see if you can do any roll back or if your exchange server is not updated you can go and update it. It may be a hit and miss since this kind of issue may be caused by a lot factors. You can also try this:

1. Go to Tools on your IE > Internet Options > Advanced > Security and the click to clear “check for publisher’s certificate revocation” >OK.
