Total commander error changing the settings

Hello,

I am trying to make some changes in my Total Commander settings and this error appeared when I tried to change the Color. I use the free version of Total Commander and I didn’t expect to this. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ?

I guess your Total Commander needs reinstalling. This error will not happen if all its files are intact. One possible cause for this is a corrupted file. Uninstall Total Commander then restart the computer. Install it back after booting the machine then see if it works. Also, try opening the application as administrator. Right-click Total Commander on your desktop and select Properties.

Select Compatibility tab then check “Run this program as an administrator” under “Privilege level” section then click OK. Try it again. If the problem continues, upgrade the program to the latest version. Download and install Total Commander 8.51a. It supports Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
