Both will come with a Micro SD slot and a standard SD slot. The SD slots will provide both models the capability to expand the storage space. The Toshiba Thrive is a 3G tablet operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. This is a discontinued tablet and is no longer being manufactured. It was announced to the public on June 2010 and released on July 2011. It measures 273 x 177 x 16 millimeters and weighs 725 grams. It uses a mini-SIM card.

It has an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution and supports multi-touch. It runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb upgradable to Android 3.2 Honeycomb powered by NIVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 chipset, Dual Core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, and ULP GeForce GPU. It supports an SD card expandable up to 32 GB.
