Hi. I have been given an assignment on a topic which I wrote several weeks ago. I wanted to compare the two documents and make sure everything asked in the question and my data is integrated. Is the Microsoft Office compare tool the only tool to compare two word documents? What is the procedure for comparing such documents on Mac Word Office?

To Learn About Different Tool To Compare Two Word Documents

If you want to compare two word documents in MS Office, the following can be done:

1) In the toolbar go to the Review option, & click on compare.

2) Then browse the original and revised document and click on OK.

3)  The points that do not match in the two documents will be struck out and the rest will remain.

5) Other options such as combine etc. are also available for you to explore.

This is not the only tool for comparing two word files.

1) You can go online to the site, https://smallseotools.com/comparison-search/ and type in the url’s or the text for percentage wise differences.

 

2) There are several online sites (Diffnow, Draftable etc) and several offline choices (Altova etc) to choose from.

In MAC OS X the documents can be compared by going to the tools menuTrack changes compare documents and then select the two documents which one you want to compare and continue. Hope this helped you out!
