I have some problems with the ThinkVantage toolbox on my new Lenovo X20 laptop. The toolbox does some updates by itself then I receive the windows error: "LTTCheck.exe – Application Error" – "The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application.". afterwards, I get a message from Lenovo Message Center Plus saying, "Lenovo has made updates to your PC diagnostics tool, Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox..". So, from here what should I do next? I want to get rid of it. Thank you for reading my concern.

Hi Adam,

Did you choose to update? Usually, it will disappear once the update is installed. error 0x000007b appears when there is memory problem. LTT.check.exe-application error is a type of spyware/malware detected in your computer.  Did you scan your laptop already? Malware/spyware can interfere the system causing operation failure. Check also your disk drivers are ok or if it is corrupted. Malware/Spyware and bad drives are the cause of that., Back up your important data and  format the drive and start again. Its feels good if our laptop is clean. I will give you some links that you might need.
