The system restore is not present in Windows 8.1 by default. Rather, it is an alias for system restore utility.exe. Is the system restore hidden too in windows 10 or it does not exist at all. I have tried accessing it to no avail. Help me
Is there a system restore (rstrui.exe) in Windows 10?
Hi Aabel,
Â
Windows 8 has the "System Restore" feature like the earlier version of Windows.Â
Â
1 Type Systems Restore in the search bar.
2 Go to Advanced System Settings-> System Protection tab
3 In the Settings for System Restore, Check if the System Protection is turned on. You can enable it by simply selecting it and the click Configure.
4 Create a new Restore Point and add a suitable description on prompt for identifying it with ease.
5 Windows 8 will ensure that this is stored as a Restore point in your computer.
Â
Regards,
Anyet
