Is there a program that would make an Avira antivirus scan faster?

Hello techyv.com!

I used an Avira Antivirus, and like seriously? it takes for about so many hours for it to do a full system scan. So I was wondering if there is a way that would make my Avira antivirus scan faster? Thank you techyv.com! I hope I would have a positive answer about this.

Hello,

 

I'm sorry, but there is no program which can make your scan faster.  If you think Avira is slow, then you should consider using Avast, which is free and it has a built-in function which scans your computer as you work.  Also it has several options which will help you to speed up the scan.  Also, scan speed depends on your hardware and the size of your HDD.  Regards.

Hello Jeffrey,

Your antivirus may be slow because you have too much used space on your hard drive, try deleting some of the stuff or put them on your portable HDD and then the scanning will be much faster. If you do not want to do that, first run your antispy programs that will partially clean your hard drive and then run the antivirus, it should be much faster.
