SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer. The SSL certificate moves the site HTTP to HTTPS. The HTTPS is more secure than HTTP. SSL certificate is the small data file that digitally binds a cryptographic key to an organization’s details.
Steps to change SSL certificate iis 7:-
1. First, click on the start and type control panel from the control panel, select the Administrative Tools, and then select the Internet Information Services Manager(IIS).
2. Then from the left side connection menu, select the server name where you install the certificate.
3. Now click on the center menu then click on the Server Certificates in the security section.
4. Then on the right click on the action menu click on the Complete Certificate Request.
5. In the complete certificate, window clicks on the “…” and select Your server certificate.
6. Now give the name to your certificate.
7. Then click on the ok button.
