I was recently watching a video on the new Tesla car, the model S P85D. I saw that the car is an all-electric car and it had racing capabilities and an on-board computer controlling all the mechanics. Also, in the video I was watching, the car got even faster with an over the air update. Can anyone explain to me how that is even possible?

Hello Eric!

This is a good advancement in car technology. Every year electronic and or electric cars are getting better and better. Elon Musk, founder of Tesla Cars, announced and reveal the latest update about tesla S P85D. “Over-The-Air-Update” – the car’s ability to receive software updates. Every time Teslas’ engineers find improvement, they send algorithms/changes thru any type of signal the same way our cell phones are updated and gains more speed. This improvement has been around since the initiation of “direct fuel engines”, when they released “EFIs” or Electronic Fueled Injection cars. This advancement for several years not to save fuel but to gain speed because it’s directly injected in to machine. Same principle with tesla cars.
