Dell Corporation release of windows 8 might be to soon after windows 7 will consumers pay an extra 2% to 4% for new ultra book or touch notebook?  

Do you think they should increase the price?

Dear Chargie,

You are telling about Dell corporation release of windows 8. Windows 7 consumers have to pay 2%-4% extra charge for new ultra book or touch notebook which contain windows 8 operating system.

You want to know that, should dell increase the price or not.

Here so many factors are working together. If you launch a new product in the market but the price is same as before then a concept will establish that, new product is not as good as before. This is totally public mentality.

People always expect a good product in much increased price. In this case for the betterment of Dell, they should increase the price.

But if you think about the money, then as a general people I must say that Dell must not increase the price.

As a whole, 2% is not a huge difference, so I think it will not be a fact on selling of new product of Dell.
