TeamViewer software an error occurred

Hi all,

I am always getting an error when I try to open Teamviewer 6 which I downloaded from the web and installed successfully.

I tried to reinstall it and see if error goes away but no it is still there.

How would I resolve this?

An error occurred during the initialization of TeamViewer. Probably

Some security software blocks network communication on this computer.

Please permit network communication on this computer to use TeamViewer.

TeamViewer software an error occurred

TeamViewer is one of the best communicating software just like Skype. It is a remote controlling software that helps make control any PC remotely. It is also a great tool for communication and sharing.

To have all these services, it must have to connect to the internet. Seeing the error message, I am sure that the connection between internet and TeamViewer is somehow disrupted.

You can make an exception in your firewall program for your TeamViewer to access to the internet.

Also, make sure that your internet connection is working properly. Because though the internet is disconnected, it will show the same error.

Hi Gary B Graham,

The problem might be with the INTERNET connection. So please check your internet connection. Make sure that the connection is working properly.

Also you can start from very beginning. Uninstall the current version download the latest version install it and enjoy.

Also check that Windows Firewall is disabled. If it is not disabled you should disable it as it may create this problem.
