I guess if you are receiving this error when using TeamViewer, there are only a few of you who are experiencing this. There is actually no problem running the program under Windows XP because it is very compatible. And one thing I noticed about the error is the location of the EULA text file. It’s pretty odd finding it in the root of drive C when installing it or the program I mean will normally place the file inside the TeamViewer installation folder in Program Files rather than in the root of drive C.

Make sure you installed the application correctly and you didn’t change the default folder. Try reinstalling it and make sure you install it on the default directory. And also, it would be better to use the latest version. Uninstall TeamViewer then click Start, All programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files” and Recycle Bin and then click OK.

Wait until it is finished and restart your computer. Download the latest version from TeamViewer 9.0.27614 for Windows. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Once downloaded, install it and see if it works.
