Hi expert folks,

I love to watch movie in DivX MPEG, so I tried to download and install in the computer. But when I tried, I ended up with an error message. The error message states that some dll is missing in the computer. How do I fix this dll? Where do I find this missing dll? Even I try to reinstall the program, but nothing worked. Please help. Thanks.

Hello,

DivX is a great program supporting many media files with awesome quality. Sad to hear your trouble with DivX.

The first solution is to install the latest version of DivX. Download and install DivX.

If still the problem persists, then download the mc_net_source.DLL file and then install it.

After downloading the file, copy it into this directory: C:WindowsSystem32.

Then, start Command Prompt with administrator privilege. Search for Command Prompt on Start menu’s search bar, right-click and select “Run as administrator”.

Now, run the command: regsvr32 mc_net_source.DLL

Your software should go fine.

You cannot continue with the DivX installation because there is a missing registry file. This could happen if you have deleted or removed any program that is associated with mc_net_source.dll. This missing file is essential for keeping some program to run properly on Windows. To resolve this, you need to identify which program you have deleted before this happens.And then download and install it again. Or you can use a Registry Repair tool to automatically fix the missing dll file. It is important that you don't just download from any dll site. It's either you reinstall the program associated with mc_net_source.dll or you run a Registry Repair tool such as CCleaner.
