Super Multi Blue Installer Setup error

Hello there,

I am getting this weird error message not able to install the Super Multi Blue Installer. The error message is totally wrong; I am installing the software in the LG BH08 device only. Do I need to check the drivers, but I haven’t made any change? What might be the problem? Please help. Your help is great.

This software can only be installed with a LG(HLDS) device. The set up will abort.

Super Multi Blue Installer Setup error

I think you are not aware that before you can install Super Multi Blue, you need to install an LG device on your computer that supports Super Multi Blue Lightscribe feature. Without it, you cannot install and use Super Multi Blue on your machine because it requires a supported device before it allows itself to be installed on the system.

The Super Multi Blue Lightscribe feature is available on LG Blu-ray Disc Rewriter. It is a Blu-ray drive capable of writing to rewritable Blu-ray discs and it has the Lightscribe feature that can print or produce laser-etched labels with texts and or graphics on the surface of the disc itself, the side of the disc where you usually stick the labels.

The Lightscribe feature is also available in some DVD writers. But even if your device supports Lightscribe, your disc should also support Lightscribe because not all discs are Lightscribe-compatible. To fix your problem, you need to purchase an LG Blu-ray Disc Writer with Super Multi Blue Lightscribe feature. See image.
