What are the requirements needed to program or build a program which can assist me in my day to day activities when busy and in my absence can run and perform all task with less supervision. I run an NGO and a school which makes it quite difficult for me to stay at one place. However I am a beginner in programming and I do require your assistance to be able to design a very potent program that can performs the above mentioned task for me since I have only one secretary and one financial advisor also in charge of the all duties pertaining the school and the NGO respectively. Thank you.

1.  What is needed to build a program? 

 

In creating a program you need to know first the scope and limitation. As you develop program you'll be able to know what are the missing things. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. You'll be able to correct it in proper time. You need also a computer or laptop.  You need also enough knowledge (basic) on how to create program/system.

 

If you're new to computer programming try to start with "high-level programming languages" like Visual Basic. Why high-level programming and why Visual Basic? It is not because of the name "basic" but high-level programming uses human language and it's easier for us to understand. Please acquire a licensed copy of this. Please study databases. Microsoft Office do have MS Access in which you can create databases and tables. Why do you need databases? This is a place where in you can store information.
