Stickies Portable did not close properly

Hello Pro Experts,

I have Stickies Portable in the computer; it is very easy to use. I used to work with it almost every day. Today when I about to use it I got an error message. So I closed the app and tried again to open it, thinking of this might solve the issue but no luck. The error remains persists, please help me. Thanks in advance.

Stickies Portable did not close properly last time it was run and will now clean up. Please the start Stickies Portable again manually.

Stickies Portable did not close properly

It seems that the last time you used Stickies Portable the program did not terminate properly maybe because of an error. If you are not aware of this when you last used it, just try following what was suggested in the dialog box. Click OK to close the dialog box and run Stickies Portable again by double-clicking on its icon on your desktop.

If there is no other problem, this should fix the problem. But if not, restart your computer and open Stickies Portable again. If the program still doesn’t run, uninstall it and then install it back. Run it afterwards and see if this works. If the problem continues, you should upgrade to the latest version. Download and install Stickies Portable 7.1e.1.

This latest version supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 as well as Linux and UNIX via WINE.
