I have the Logitech USB headset. I bought them two years ago. Today, when I connected them to my PC, I observed that no sound is coming in the speaker of the headset. I pulled the USB out and inserted it back, but still, no voice is audible. This problem never happened before. Can you provide the steps for ‘Logitech USB headset not recognized’?

Since that headset is USB, try connecting it to another USB port. Try using all available USB ports to troubleshoot the problem. If this doesn’t work, check if your sound card is installed and working. Play a video or music on your computer and see if there is sound. Try to uninstall and reinstall your sound card driver. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.

Once installed, start Revo then select your sound card software among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install the sound card driver software back.

If the problem continues, try connecting the headset to another computer. The headset should work on any computer with USB port because it doesn’t require any driver from Logitech. If the problem follows on the other computer then something is wrong with your USB headset. The headset comes with a 2-year limited hardware warranty. Return it to the store if it’s still under warranty.
