I have the Hp laptop which I purchased two years ago. It has four GB ram and one TB hard disc. Recently I installed Catia software while running it on the laptop it hangs too much. Tell me what to do when the laptop hangs because before installation of the software, it hanged rarely and now it hangs very much.
Catia is bulky software, so there is no doubt that your laptop is not supporting it well and it is the reason for the freezing of your laptop. If your laptop is not responding, at least give it a minute to cope back but, if it still isn’t responding then, you have to switch it off. Press the power button and hold it until it is switched off. Now, you have to switch it ON. Instead of restarting your laptop, you can also opt for terminating the programs by pressing Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys together.
Click on the ‘Task Manager.’ Select the programs which you want to terminate. Now, click on ‘End Task.’ If your PC always hangs while running any particular software or program, then you have to uninstall that particular program. Instead of using it, download and install the downgraded version of that software. You should also perform the hardware scan of your PC to detect the presence of any malware/virus and if present, remove it quickly.
