Steps to download the Dell SM bus controller driver

The SM Bus Controller is a chipset found in your PC’s motherboard. It’s main task is to monitor the temperature and voltage of the motherboard.

You can check the driver by right-clicking on the My Computer icon, and then click Manage to launch the Computer Management window. Click on Device Manager to see the list of other devices then go to SM Bus Controller property. Simply right-click on Properties, you will get the message that the drivers for this device are not installed.

2. Click on the Intel chipset software installation utility.

3. Click on Intel driver update utility, click to download.

4. Run the setup of Intel driver update utility.

5. The command prompt will open up displaying some information.

6. Now the system update is completed. Click on Launch.
