My laptop computer is Sony VAIO VGN-FW21M, running a Windows Vista 32-bit home edition. When I start it, I got an error message saying, “Bluetooth software license not found.” I have tried cleaning the boot system and configuration, but the problem was not fixed. I am seeking for your help in solving the issue. Thank you so much.

Hi,

You most likely have an expired bluetooth software or a corrupted bluetooth software installation. To try and fix this, uninstall your bluetooth software first. You need to go to Start, type in Programs and Features. In the Programs and Features windows, look for your bluetooth software and uninstall it. After it’s gone, go to Sony’s website and search for drivers for your system. Download the latest bluetooth drivers and install it. Try booting your computer up again and see if the problem is still present. You can also try doing a System Restore back to a day when you didn’t have the problem.

Thank you. Hope it helps.
