Star Wars The Old Republic installing error

Hi there,

During the install of Star Wars game this error appeared. The .rar file is not corrupted because a friend of mine is playing already the game and I am stuck with this error. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ?

Star Wars The Old Republic installing error

Hello,

In order to fix this issue, you have to check the installation file as it might be corrupted. Download the latest setup file, run it to install the game.

This also might be an issue with the permission as it is a great trouble in installing software in Windows Vista, 7, 8 etc. Right-click on the installer, select “Run as administrator” and continue the installation process.

Also, update to the latest .NET Framework and Visual C++ Redistributables. Download .NET Framework 4.5.1, Visual C++ Redistributables.

Now, your problem should go away and won’t dare annoy you again.
