Speccy error “Cannot initialize SPC dll”

I have downloaded Speccy to identify the memory used by my system. It was able to identify the Operating System, and the drives installed on it however, it gives an error on other things detected on my computer. "Cannot initialize SPC dll". I have installed the program on my Dell Dimension 3000 that has Windows XP Service Pack 3 installed on it. Any help? Best regards!

Hi,

It would be easier to provide a specific answer if i can get to know what are the other things that you get the error "Cannot initialize SPC dll". Whether it is HDD, Graphic, Motherboard, CPU or RAM?

For an example, one of my friend had the same problem with his graphics card and just doing a reinstallation of the program fixed the problem.

So try re-installing the drivers, Good Luck!

Speccy error “Cannot initialize SPC dll”

Hello Adolfo,

The reason why you are getting that error is because the antivirus or firewall you have is blocking the application, and therefore you will need to add the application to the antivirus or firewall exceptions for it to work. Also changes to the registry could be a possible cause the issue and therefore you will need to troubleshoot that.
