Need your help with error code 13

When I open ncsoft launcher to play the game, this error code 13: (ProductConfigurationLoadError) occurs.

Please see the image below for more details. What do you think is the problem?

Do I have to reinstall the launcher?

Give me some of your suggestions.

NCsoft Launcher Update Error

Error Code:13 (ProductConfigurationLoadError):

There was an error loading the product configuration file

'C:gamesNCSoftLauncherConfigDefaultNCPatcherConfigProductsN

CLauncherMainNCPatcherProductConfig.xml'.

Please make sure the game is properly installed.

 

Error Code 13 OK Exit"

Need your help with error code 13

 

Such an error occurs mostly due to an invalid or non existent file.  The file that is shown over there may not be present in the installer, or has been deleted after the install or some other software might have deleted or corrupted it that it is unable to open. You must have antivirus installs in your computer, that be the latest one. All you need to do is to uninstall the software. If some error occurs during installation, then open regedit.exe from command prompt then delete all registry entries of the software. You can reinstall the software for the purpose of reinstalling the same.

Need your help with error code 13

The reason for this error is most likely a framework issue. It can be resolved by uninstalling the .NET framework and reinstalling or upgrading to the newest version of it.

Another thing you should ensure is that the XML file is not being used by another program that could be interfering with your use.
