Every time I play an online game with sounds and at the same time I have my web browser logged in to Facebook, the sound on my online game gets muted or disabled when a pop up message came in from Facebook, I have a built in sound card. How can this be resolved?

This may help your problem. Playing online games requires System requirements for your PC. You PC must achieve this requirements so you can play well. If you're PC runs on the minimum requirements this might your problem. Because Low memory can affect your running programs.
Sometimes it disabled sounds or sometimes crash reports appears. You just need to upgrade your computer by adding more memory on RAM and Video card. Because the higher the memory the fast of your computer it is. And it also do multi tasking. Like you do when you play online games.
