I am trying to purchase some music from the Xbox store but keep getting the below error

Sorry, The Xbox service isn't available right now.

0xc000d11cd (0x80004005)

I installed Windows 8.1 and then installed the Xbox APP

Hi,

            Just try to refresh, that means you need to change the password (go here) and then carry on. After that log out from the xbox music app and sign in back using the new password. Also please do install all the frequent updates, as most of the Xbox problems with Win 8 will get fixed. Other alternative is resetting tcp/ip ( type "netsh int ip reset" in shell) and winsock, which also works sometimes.

To reset Winsock:



1. Type "netsh winsock reset"  in command shell, then enter.

2. Type "netsh int ipv4 reset" then enter.

3. You may require to run Network Diagnostics to repair refreshed connection.
