Sony vaio VPCW216AG sound disappears

I am having problems related to volume with my Sony Vaio VPCW216AG. After I disconnect the power source from my netbook, the volume disappears & I have to go through a restart to make it work again.

I have tried updating all drivers but still the problem remains same.

Any ideas guys?

I have read your problem and I have understood your problem. It may be two types of problem.

Number one is that it may be your sound card has been deleted. If it has been deleted you have to reinstall your sound card software by using your sound card CD. For your kind information each sound card has own CD. Others sound card's CD does not work. So please use your own sound card CD.

The number two problem is may be your computer does not have any antivirus software. Because of virus effected your netbook lost sound. So check out your antivirus software working properly or not. If not as soon as possible install a new anti virus software.

You can reinstall your window's system. Sometimes reinstall your window's this kind of problem getting solved.
