Sony vaio update problem when upgrading.

Techyv,

I have sony vaio update problem for the sound drivers. I recently tried to update my drivers but on completion, my speakers were not working. Can restore to default settings bring the sound back or there is another way through this.

Please help.

Sony vaio update problem when upgrading.

Hello,

I have three tips for you who might be helpful. First go to Sounds then Levels, choose Speakers and see maybe they are on mute. If not, right click on the volume icon and click on playback devices. Change your default settings.

Also you can try with System Restore, maybe the sound will be back.

If that doesn’t work for you, try uninstall your sound driver. After that, reboot it to automatically reinstall the driver. Maybe this will fix your issue.
