I have configured a new advertisement for my mix of office with PC and MAC.

My question is, if there something I should  have to set up on Server 2003 so that the Mac can join a domain?

hi Valerie,

Yes you have to do some configuration in order to join Mac to Window Server 2003.

You have two alternatives, the first alternative to install Microsoft UAM (user authentication module) which is readily available at the Microsoft site.

You can use the link

The second alternative is to enable the plain text password option in this case follow the following guideline:

In Computer Management, click System Tools.

Right-click Shared Folder, and then click Configure File Server for Macintosh.

Under Security, for Enable authentication, click Apple Clear Text or Microsoft.
