How often should I use these settings?

And is it really necessary to be in the default settings for this OS?

And can I be able to restore my own settings if i change my settings to default?

Hi Kathy,

It’s depend upon where you able to use it. No it’s not necessarily you apply always in default settings you can have your own settings.

And you can able to restore your own settings if you like to change your settings to default be sure that you save your own settings if you want it back to default.

Hi Kathy,

Each OS comes with some default settings. These are the settings that are set by the manufacturer and are sufficient for most of the users. However we need to change the default settings to fulfill certain requirements.

In such case, it's always advisable to make a copy of the original file whose contents you are going to change and keep a log of the changed file names in an excel sheet somewhere in your directory structure.

In this way, you will always know which files have been changed and what are the original contents.

Whenever required you may copy back the original files to their respective directories.
