I am attempting to defragment the flash memory of my rooted S2 Android Froyo because it has become so slow. Is there an app for this or is there a defrag option in the system? Can someone please help on how to defrag android system? ThanksÂ

It seems that you have heard highly misleading information regarding Android defragmentation. I myself own Android phone and I'm loving it.
More to your dilemma. UNDER any circumstances, Android is NOT defragmentable. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEFRAGMENT IT. Android uses NAND Flash memory which is simply not defragmentable. It has limited READ/WRITE cycles therefore attempting to defragment it just reduces your phone's lifetime.

Hello Jocelyn, you should definitely not attempt to defragment your android device. Only computers that utilize a Hard Disk Drive type of mechanical hard drive should you defragment. Android devices use flash memory that does not require defragmenting. Many apps on the app market are scams that are trying to steal your personal information if they advertise defragmenting your device.
